February is just around the corner, and we have some lovely parties coming your way soon!
On Saturday, Feb. 3rd, we’ll be getting into the carnival spirit with our Mardi Gras Dance! Festivities will run from 7pm-10pm, starting with a group class in Samba. Admission is our regular $15, and as always, there will be refreshments available, including some themed desserts! And remember, no experience or partner is required!
Next, on Saturday, Feb. 10th, the season of love will come to Dancin’ Dance with our Sweethearts Ball! Dress will be semiformal, with a special dessert bar! You may have also noticed some hearts appearing in the ballroom–add your own with what you love about Dancin’ Dance! It can be your favorite dance style, your instructor(s), your most memorable party or moment with us, anything! Come spread your love in the ballroom! Admission is still $15 for the party, with no group class for this special event. No experience or partner needed!
On Saturday, Feb. 17th, the studio will unfortunately be closed. But the next day, on Sunday, Feb. 18th, we’re excited to announce that we’re hosting the last Master Class fundraiser with Primo from 2-4pm! Last year, we had to replace our A/C unit, and proceeds will continue to offset the cost. So, if you like staying cool in the ballroom, come support our studio! And what better way than with this amazing two-part workshop with one of our premier instructors, Primo Garcia! The first session will be Social Dancing 101–covering techniques to make you a better social dancer, such as: leading and following, proper timing, and social dancing etiquette. The next session will focus on Rumba patterns. Each session is $25 per person or $40 per person for both sessions. Be sure not to miss this awesome instruction and come show your love for our studio!
The last Saturday, Feb. 24th, is our monthly Birthday Party! Everyone with a February birthday will get to dance a special Cha-Cha with everyone, and we’ll have a yummy cake to share! Admission is still $15 like normal, and remember, no experience or partner is needed!
We’re also continuing our group classes during the week, all for $10 each, per person. Dance styles may vary. Check our Facebook page for more details!
