Hey, Dancin’ Dancers! Check out the fun events we have planned for May (and Brevard’s largest fundraising event in early June–Dancing For the Space Coast)!!!
Due to an A/C outage, the studio will be closed May 5th & 6th, and our intergalactic Cosmic Party has been moved to May 13th. Our black lights will be shining in the ballroom, so wear your coolest space-themed or glow-in-the-dark attire for an out-of-this-world night of dancing! We will also be celebrating our May birthdays with a cake and a special Cha-Cha dance for all of our dancers with birthdays during this month. Admission is also $10 per person like normal.
A week later, Saturday, May 20th, we’ll be celebrating the end-of-the-school-year fun with Prom Night! Dress will be semiformal/formal (like you would dress for prom), and we’ll have a special prom backdrop for pictures! We’ll also be voting for prom king and queen to really get into the school spirit! No partner needed! $10 per person.
The last weekend of May will be a normal party, but we want to go ahead and tell you that our studio will be closed for the annual charity competition, Dancing For the Space Coast, on Saturday, June 3rd! This annual fundraiser will be held at the FIT Clemente Center, and both Heidi, Primo, and Geoff will all be dancing with local celebrities in the ballroom competition. Come support our dancers and our community through this fun event for charity! Contact Heidi ASAP if you want tickets as they sell out fast!
And that’s not all! Don’t forget, our weekly group classes will be going all throughout May, all for $10 each:
– On Tuesdays from 8-8:45pm, Primo or Ashley will be teaching a special group class series. For the first two weeks of May, Primo will be teaching Rhythm technique in Rumba, then for the last two weeks, Ashley will resume teaching with Smooth technique in Waltz and Tango!
– Geoff is teaching on Thursdays, starting at 7:15pm.
