Hey, Dancin’ Dance community! Mark your calendars! We decided to have a lot of fun in August, so we’re having themed events every weekend for the whole month!
Saturday, August 5th, is our Character Night Party starting at 7pm. Come dressed as your favorite movie or tv character or celebrity. We’re excited to see what everyone will wear, and we’ll be awarding best dressed male, female, and couple! Admission is $15 each.
The next Saturday, August 12th, is our Roarin’ Twenties Party! Wear your sparkly, flapper dresses and classic, gangster-style suits for a fun blast from the past! Admission is $15 per person.
Next, back by popular demand, is our intergalactic Cosmic Party on Saturday, August 19th. Our black lights will be shining in the ballroom, so come in your best glow-in-the-dark attire or dress as your favorite space-themed character! We’ll also be celebrating our August Birthdays with cake and a special Cha-Cha for all our August b-days! Admission is $15.
Finally, Saturday, August 26th, will be our first Tacky Tourist Party! Bring your most outrageous, tackiest vacation or cruise-ship outfits—loud flower shirts, big sunglasses, and huge straw hats are welcome! We’ll be awarding best male, female, and couple, so be creative! Admission is $15. No partner needed.
Additionally, we’re still having our group classes during the week, all for $10 each:
– Ashley will be teaching at 8pm on Tuesdays. Dance style TBD.
– Geoff will be teaching on Thursdays at 7:15pm all throughout August. Dance style may vary. Check our Facebook page for details!
